Boston — The Old Rochester Regional boys basketball team continues to receive recognition for its state championship win. The young men and their coaches recently met several state officials during an invitation to the Massachusetts State House by Rep. Bill Straus (D.-Mattapoisett).

On April 28, the visit began with a narrated tour of the State House, followed by a photo with Straus, Sen. Marc Pacheco ((D.-Taunton), and Sen. Michael Rodrigues (D.-Westport).

Straus welcomed the team to his office for a pizza lunch and concluded with a visit into the House Chamber where they were introduced to the members of the General Court and received a congratulatory recognition.
